Our Legacy
My Cousins’ Wine is rooted in a craft our great-grandfather carried from Sicily to America as a young man—a way of preserving old world winemaking traditions in a new land. For our family, winemaking was more than a practice; it was a discipline, a tradition, and a way of honoring the land and the harvest.
In Springfield, our grandfather and his brothers made wine side by side, each with their own approach, each convinced theirs was just a little better than the rest. That same friendly competition carried across the family table to his brothers-in-law, the Pagliaros. Batches were tasted, debated, compared, and proudly poured. No prizes. No titles. Just respect, laughter, and the quiet pride of creating something with your own hands.
It wasn’t just wine. The men of Springfield grew or gathered what they could—hot peppers, mushrooms, tomatoes or scungilli on their trips to Cape Cod. Tending gardens and food with the same care they gave their barrels. Harvest season meant long days, stained hands, and full kitchens. What they grew, they preserved. What they preserved, they shared. Everything was turned into the best possible product through hard work, patience, and intent.

A Family of Winemakers
Passing down stories worth telling
Our Values
Our great-grandfather carried more than winemaking across the ocean, he carried a mindset. Use what the land gives you. Waste nothing. Respect the process. Take pride in your work. Share what you make. He passed that philosophy down to our grandfather, who lived it every day, and in turn passed it on to our parents, who passed it to us.
As cousins, aunts, uncles, and parents, we see it as our duty to keep those values alive. Make wine with purpose, honor the harvest, and pass down not just recipes or techniques, but a way of thinking. Because what was handed to us was never just wine.

Hard Work
Our family never believed quality was accidental. It came from long days, stained hands, and doing things the right way even when it was harder. That same work ethic guides us today. From vineyard partners who carefully tend each harvest, to our hands-on approach in the cellar. Every bottle reflects effort, discipline, and pride in the final result.
Service
Every generation of our family has served, and during every major war since coming to America. Our ancestors left Sicily seeking freedom, opportunity, and a better life. It was not handed to them, it was earned through hard work, sacrifice, and service to their new country. We are proud to carry on that tradition, honoring their courage, defending the values they fought for, and giving back to the nation that has given our family so much.
Throughout the years, many members of our family have also served their communities through public service. Service is more than duty; it is our way of showing gratitude, commitment, and pride in the country we call home.
As a veteran-owned company with many cousins who serve and share a love for making wine, we honor all veterans who have stepped forward in service to our country. Your courage, sacrifice, and commitment inspire the care and dedication we pour into every bottle.

Our Vino

Sustainable & Natural
Respect for the land
Our grapes come from sustainable, family-owned farms from some of the best grape growing regions in America. We are able to select the best grapes from the best regions every year. People who work their land the same way our family always has, with pride and responsibility.
Whenever possible, our best fruit is sourced from organic vineyards, where the health of the soil, the vines, and the surrounding environment comes first. We believe great wine can only come from land that is respected and protected for the next generation. After all, before we came to America, that is how our family did it back in the 1800’s.

Minimal Intervention
let the grapes speak
We believe wine should reflect where it comes from, not be masked by excessive manipulation. By practicing minimal intervention whenever possible, we allow the natural character of the grapes to show through, their texture, aromatics, and structure intact. This philosophy connects directly back to how wine was enjoyed at our family tables: honest, expressive, and alive.
